As soon as I had a driver's license, vintage cars became an instant hobby. I have had many vehicles, including motorcycles, bicycles, and trailers. In fact, it was my latest trailer purchase that lured me into the full size wagon arena. I bought a '65 Airstream but unfortunately my 6 cylinder Comet wagon couldn't handle the weight. I began searching for a 60's full size wagon. I acquired a '68 Country Squire in good condition. . . with the exception of the woodgrain. I began to search for the woodgrain. I had to have the correct black line woodgrain but it was nowhere to be found. I did find a roll of 80's/90's 3m di noc but it was too orange and the woodgrain pattern was much too exaggerated for a 60's wagon. I noticed that there was a product available from Avery but it had a 2 year life expectancy. I wasn't about to do all the work of applying woodgrain and replace it in 2 years!!
Because I own a sign company, I used my resources to develop my own woodgrain for my '68 wagon that was close in color and pattern to the original material. Thus, Woodgrain 4 Wagons was born in 2006, paving the way for other fans of vintage wagons to correctly restore their faux wood sides. Now, Woodgrain 4 Wagons has many happy customers with high quality woodgrain that will continue to make a lasting impression on their vintage vehicles. Every order of woodgrain that is custom printed is intended to help bring another vintage wagon to life. It is my passion that every vintage wagon is saved from demolition.
